Pioneer Forge is a civilization game in which you build, defend against attacks, and keep your population happy. It was made using Pygame and Python.





All code, images, sounds, and other assets for Pioneer Forge was made and written by Pickles6855 except the font, Public Pixel Font, which you can find the license for in the font folder in the assets folder.

DO NOT BORROW or take any code to use for your own purposes.

YOU MAY PLAY THE GAME and modify the code and art but YOU CANNOT REDISTRIBUTE it WITHOUT CREDITING ME, Pickles6855, AND PROVIDING THE ORIGINAL SOURCE CODE with the README.md file included.

Install instructions

In order to play Pioneer Forge, install python onto your computer from https://www.python.org/. All additional packages will be automatically installed for you and you can run it by opening it with the 'Python' app or by using the correct command in the terminal or command prompt. If you need information on how to run python scripts, search up 'how to run python scripts on mac' and replace it with windows or linux depending on your operating system.
